Kitchen 1 - replacement doors and worktops

These pictures are of a kitchen where the doors, end panels, plinths, etc. where replaced with new wood veneered panels, but the carcases left intact. In this case the doors are ripple maple and the end panels and plinths are iroko to match the new oiled iroko worktops.

Kitchen 2 - French Inspired

This kitchen was design with the clients from some photo's they had taken on a holiday to France. All the doors are set in a frame with brass hinges and ceramic door knobs.  The frames and doors are made from hardwood and MDF is used for the panels and shelves.  The exterior has been painted with Farrow And Ball oil eggshell and interior of the cabinets are dark cherry.

Kitchen 3 - Shaker inspired

This kitchen was designed with an architect as part of a renovation of a six storey house. It is in fact the utility room off the main centre piece kitchen.  The left hand side was deisgned to appear as a large old english dresser, approximately 12 feet long and the right hand side as classic shaker, simple lines and funtion.  It was made from a combination of hardwood and MDF for the panels and carcases.  It was also painted with Farrow and Ball oil eggshell.

Kitchen 4 - Gothic

The kitchen was designed taking the inspiration from the architecture of the house, 2 pieces of furniture already bought for the room and an antique 7 inch thick butchers block the client already owned.  The base cabinets are oak with granite work surfaces.  There is a large solid oak gothic mantle. The wall cabinets over the sink are cherry with copper panels to complement the clients collection of copper pots.  A center piece was built to hold the butchers block after I had reconditioned it.
